Domiciliary Support

Our Domiciliary Support service continues to expand

17/01/2012

We are currently supporting 12 people, but this number is growing each month as the good news about the quality of the service is passed on through word of mouth.

At the moment we can only offer support to adults over the age of 18, but are hoping to expand this very shortly to offer support to young people from the age of 14.

This will enable a much smoother transition from children’s to adult services and give young people with learning disabilities an opportunity to develop independence from their family and to experience the same sort of leisure activities enjoyed by young people who do not have a learning disability.

The Domiciliary support is financed by the service users Personal Budget and each person is invoiced monthly for the support they have received
