21/11/2012

Motortapes, the local band that has raised hundreds of pounds for Cambridgeshire Mencap's Down's Syndrome Baby and Toddler Group, will be performing live at the Mill Road Winter Fair on Saturday, December 1st 2012.

Pop along to Mill Road, opposite Guest Road, at 11am where they will be busking live on the street. For the full electric set, come along at 8pm to the Romsey Labour Club to get the full sound.

Any Motortapes CDs sold at the event will raise vital funds for Cambridgeshire Mencap.

Emma Holbrook, Cambridgeshire Mencap fundraiser, saw the band perform live at their last fundraiser. She says, 'These guys have genuine feeling for the work that we do and we are so grateful to them for their support. Their sound is hard-hitting and original. They are real. They have substance. They make an impression. Do come along and hear them on 1st December - get behind the charity and get behind their music'.
