Rosewood Sun-Room Fundraising Appeal
Help us build a brighter future
27/02/2013
Rosewood is a one-storey residence where we provide 24-hour care for six elderly service users who have severe learning disabilities and varying levels of dementia. These individuals are almost entirely house-bound due to age related health problems and mobility issues.
Rosewood has a sun-room which sits on the end of the building. The existing sun-room needs to be replaced.
Cambridgeshire Mencap is running an urgent appeal for funds to replace the Rosewood sun-room.
So far, we have raised £20,000. We need to raise a further £18,000.
We are organising as much fundrasing activity as we possibly can and are keen to hear from local companies and individuals willing to support us.
Please click here to donate. It will mean the world to our Rosewood residents and their carers. When sending in your donation, please mark it clearly with the word 'Rosewood'.
Alternatively, you may wish to organise a fundraising event for us. Take a look at our fundraising ideas for some inspiration!.
And classical music fans may wish to come along to our piano recital which is being organised in memory of one of Rosewood's residents.
Do contact Emma Holbrook, Community Fundraiser, with any queries you may have.
We welcome all support and ideas as we work to gather the funding necessary for this vital project.
Thank you.
