Artwork's Fenland 'Summer Holiday' Show

Theatre production launches the summer

Eddie's Artworks in Fenland presented their 'Summer Holiday' show to launch the summer at March Town Hall on Friday 13th June.

Summer holiday

“Eddies Fenland Artworks” put on their summer show on Friday June 13th at March Town Hall. Members had been practicing hard and creating fabulous props for weeks leading up to the show. The performance of “Summer Holiday” got everyone present, including a wonderful audience, in the mood for summer. The cast performed a series of scenes which included travelling on a bus, swimming in the sea and having fun on the beach! The audience were encouraged to sing a long to hits such as “Here comes the Sun”, “In the Summertime”, “Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer” and, of-course, Cliff Richard’s “Summer Holiday”! The production was directed by Alan Hooks (Anglian Players) who volunteers at Eddies and, along with many other extremely supportive volunteers, form part of an invaluable support team!
