Tour de France passes Fair Shares Cafe

The Eddie's team serve Tour De France spectators at the Fair Shares Cafe


Eddie's volunteers were delighted to help serve at the Emmanuel Church Fair Shares Cafe on Monday 7th July at the Tour De France Peloton raced by! The Cafe opened up a pop-up takeaway on the day to serve spectators deliciously freshly baked filled rolls, cakes, drinks and ice cream! Funds raised will be re-invested in giving the cafe a fresh new look!

Fair Shares Cafe, at the Emmanuel United Reformed Church, Trumpington Street, Cambridge is a Community cafe run by volunteers including people with learning disabilities. The Cafe serves great home cooked affordable food in a friendly relaxed atmosphere and a range of products in our Fairtrade shop. There are delicious daily specials to eat in or takeaway. Open Tuesday - Friday from 10.30 a.m. Group bookings are now also being taken for great value Cream Teas david.clark@eddies.org.uk

Fair Shares Cafe was voted one of the top ten eating and drinking places in Cambridge as voted for by visitors to localsecrets.com 2010.
