Eddies Catering Course Students tell us what they like most

Eddies are very proud of their catering and hospitality course. This course is run at St Johnís College, Cambridge as a partnership between Eddie's, Huntingdonshire Regional College and the University of Cambridge, St Johnís College

Eddies Catering students at St. Johns College told us what they enjoy most;

Joseph - "I like working in the buttery because I like to serve customers."

Laura -"I like helping Kevin, Tim and the other staff in the kitchen with their work tasks because I like to help people and learn how to do the tasks.† What I like most is getting help from people."

Cally - "I like to be in the kitchen because I like to do the fruit salad".

Katrina - " Working in the kitchen because I have learnt how to turn on the ovens."

Chloe - "I like being in the kitchen and I like working with the chefs and getting to meet them."

Claire -† "I do like to bake, this is demonstrated and I listen to the instructions so I know what to do."

The one year entry level course gives people with learning disabilities the chance to study for a nationally recognised qualification, possibly as the first step towards a career in catering or hospitality. It also provides the opportunity for progression onto other courses.

To find out more about our catering and hospitality course please contact us at catering@eddies.org.uk or call us on 01223 765613 or 01223 883130.

We can also arrange a 'taster' session or a tour of the college.
