Eddies Needs You!

We are very pleased to announce that Eddie’s Young People’s Befriending Scheme has been named as one of the 15 charities for this year's Cash For the Community in conjunction with Cambridge Building Society and Cambridge News. Each of the 15 charities receive a share of £10,000 and how much we receive depends on you, our supporters.

From Monday 9th March to Saturday 4th April, the Cambridge News will be printing tokens for you to collect for the chosen charity of your choice. The tokens should be placed in a sealed envelope which has the name of the group that your coupons are for and the total number of coupons. These can be dropped off at any Cambridge Building Society Brance or the Cambridge News offices. We also have special collection buckets and envelopes in these locations: Edmund House (Fulbourn), Eddie’s (March), Fair Shares Café (Trumpington Street), The Six Bells (Fulbourn), The Co-op (Fulbourn) and Over Primary School.

The amount of money given to each group will be determined by how many tokens we receive. The more tokens collected the more money the group will get!
