Putting the Community in the Festive Spirit

Eddie's Open Day Success

Monday 5th December saw Eddie’s Artworks studio open its’ doors to the public. The doors opened at 10:30am with individuals, family and friends coming along, alongside the local police and members of other community groups.

The members showcased the drama productions they have been working on along with having a Christmas Sing-Along, which put everyone in the festive spirit. Deb Matthysz, Arts Tutor said “It was great to see so many people come along and support Eddie’s, the members had a wonderful time performing for the spectacular audience.”Artworks Open Day December

The event also saw the charity present the annual Bishop Achievement Award, an award set up in memory of the late Mark and Michelle Bishop. This year’s first place went to Sarah Neave with runner up Pam Newby. Both ladies were thrilled to receive the award.
