Eddie’s celebrate catering student’s graduation at St Johns College

Tandy Harrison our Chair of Trustee's welcomes everyone

Congratulations to the students on our catering and hospitality course who on 3 July 2018 graduated in the surrounds of St Johnís College. Nine students, aged 18-24, all with learning disabilities, completed the course to achieve the Gateway Certificate for Skills in Hospitality and Catering. The course, that has been running for 17 years, is a collaboration between Eddie's, Cambridge Regional College, and St John's College.

The course is designed to offer those with learning disabilities the chance to learn in a supportive environment and then enter paid employment or further education. Past students have gone on to work at St Johnís, other colleges, Marks and Spencer's and this year hopefully the National Trust. Students have also chosen to continue their education at the CRC.

Big thank you to our Chair of Trusteeís, Tandy Harrison, for welcoming everyone and Master of St Johnís College, Sir Christopher Dobson, for awarding everyone with their certificates. We wish the studentís all the best for their next step!
